There are lots of ways to join in; holding an event is just one of them. For other things you can do, see this page.

You can use the form below to tell us about your event. If you’re not sure if your event is suitable, have a look at the other events, read the about page, and if you’re still not sure, contact us.

Please read this first, and follow the guidelines carefully. If you don’t, we may not add your event.

1. You need a working email address we can contact you at if we need to. Don’t worry, we won’t share it with anyone else.
2. Your event needs a name - even if it’s just “Reading by X” or “Book group Y”.
3. You need to tell us the date, the time it starts and ends, and good directions to the location (a Google Maps link would be great).
4. Tell us as much as possible. This is really important - people won’t come if they don’t know what’s happening.
5. Send us all the links you can, whether it’s the homepage of the venue or the artist(s) involved - it’s all useful.
6. A web page about your event would be really helpful for people to get more information. If you don’t have one, you can add it to Upcoming, or consider setting up a Myspace account or Facebook page.
7. Please tell us who the event is for, if necessary - e.g. if it’s for children, or if it’s only suitable for those over 18.

We’ll try to get it onto the site as soon as possible, but if it hasn’t appeared within 48 hours, please send an email to events @ londonlitplus.com.
